How does keyless golf cart rental work with EAGL?
Players book and pay in the EAGL app, then unlock and start the cart directly from their phone — no key handover, no pro-shop queue. The IoT device on each cart authenticates the booking and releases the motor only for the rented time window.
Do I need to buy new carts to enable keyless self-service?
No. EAGL retrofits onto your existing fleet. The IoT module installs on standard golf carts and adds keyless unlock, GPS, and remote control without replacing the vehicle.
What happens if a player loses phone signal?
Once a cart is unlocked, it keeps running. Connectivity is only required at the moment of unlock and for live telemetry — gameplay is never interrupted by a dropped signal.
Is self-service rental safer than traditional handover?
Yes. Every booking is tied to an identified player who has accepted the club's rental terms in-app, and every ride is logged with GPS — far more accountability than a paper sign-out sheet.
