Global golf superstar partners with EAGL Technologies

Suzann Pettersen is world-renowned for her golfing credentials and she is now an official partner and equity holder at EAGL Technologies. With the former World nr. 2 golf professional “Tutta” onboard, the technology company is looking to utilize the experience to grow internationally. 

First mover with self-serviced golf cart rental system 

According to an analysis by US businesswire.com, the market for golf carts in the United States alone was valued at $ 1.19 billion in 2018, and is expected to grow to $ 1.62 billion by 2026. 

EAGL Technologies is the "first mover" when it comes to delivering IoT and keyless technology to golf carts. Looking at similar technologies in other markets such as car rental or electric scooters, the growth potential is enormous. With the backing from Telia and Innovation Norway as well as Tutta's international golf network, EAGL has great ambitions to grow fast. 

Why did you partner up with EAGL? 

-In my professional golf career, I have visited golf courses all over the world, and seen with my own eyes how technology has taken great strides and helped shape golf as a sport. But one thing that has not changed is the golf cart experience, it has been the same for as long as I can remember. Booking, administration and key issues have been a common denominator all over the world. 

EAGL has a simple scalable concept with the latest technology. Which is important both in terms of quality, but also sustainability, which is something I think is important, says Pettersen.

-Team is one of the most important factors for me when I am involved in new projects, and one of the most important success factors for growth.  

After several conversations with the team in EAGL, I discovered that they are passionate about what they do, and have a strong desire to succeed, which made it easy for me to make the decision to join the team as equity holder and partner.
